Silviculture

  • Standing timber stock means here the growing stock volume on forest land and poorly productive forest land, including protected forests. Growing stock on land available for wood production was 90.1%.
  • The total commercial felling of pulpwood amounted to 33.9 million m³ and of logs 24.6 million m³ in 2015. Commercial felling comprised 86% of all timber felled. The remainder mainly consisted of energy wood.
